Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and most importantly, the food was amazing. Highly recommend the jerk chicken with mac and cheese and collard greens. The cornbread is the best cornbread I’ve ever had in my life The music that they play adds to the nice vibe you get from this place. I paid 9 for Mac & Cheese via DoorDash pick-up and I was disappointed. Not even a full scoop. Total take out experience cost 50 for lunch. Shrimp plate: 22 DoorDash - 24 in restaurants Mac & cheese : 9.10 DoorDash - 7 in person Apple Martini : 18 Overall the vibe inside was nice and the food was seasoned.
As someone who truly values giving credit where it’s due, I have to say this restaurant did not disappoint. I’m a foodie and very particular about my food, and I was pleased with what I experienced here. I tried the Escovitch Snapper, which was perfectly seasoned, and I substituted my sides (coleslaw and french fries) for rice and peas and Mac n cheese — both were absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had the red velvet cake, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. This place has been on my list for quite some time, and I’m so glad I finally got to check it off and a special shout-out to the bartender, John. He was very nice and accommodating! I would also note that I’d recommend keeping an eye on the bathrooms, as one of the stalls didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of cleanliness and the restroom was my first stop before I sat down to dine in. I’m glad I decided to stay however because the rest of the restaurant didn’t reflect that issue. Looking forward to visiting again!
Wanted to try some Caribbean food and was not disappointed. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted. Monique was our server, she was wonderful giving us top service and sharing recommendations on favorites. We tried Oxtail, fried conch, plantains, rice and peas, jerk chicken, curry goat . All the food was excellent. Favorite being Oxtail and fried conch app. The surroundings were fun, clean with a modern vibe. ALL the services were always smiling and made you feel welcomed.
I’ve long for a Caribbean place where I could sit down have a great meal that has a full bar. And I found it here at LORNA‘s place. The food was delicious. Look at my picture that broccoli got with garlic sauce also super amazing my server who’s also a bartender was very busy, but he’s so handsome that I’d gladly wait on him. I’ll definitely be back.

My 1st time visit to Lorna's with a friend everything was great food/service. The only good thing about my 2nd visit with my family was the good tasting food. Two disappointments. 1. They ran out of cabbage and the appetizer shrimp I was looking forward to having. Cabbage goes so well with ox tails so you would think they would make sure they have enough. 2nd the service was not good at all. It seems to me they need to hire more help because good service is important! I'm glad at least the food was on point.
